Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Payment
All bookings must be made in advance and full payment is required at the time of booking.

Once payment is confirmed, the booking is considered successful.
​
2. Refund Policy
Late arrivals and no-shows will forfeit their booking without any refund.
All payments made are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to personal reasons, weather and traffic conditions, etc.
Adverse weather policy: Koto Tennis may suspend operations once the Typhoon No.8 Signal or Black Rainstorm is hoisted. Services normally resume two hours after the signal is lowered or cancelled. Users should check Koto’s social media pages or contact our staff in case of any queries. In case of venue closure, users may request a refund subject to a bank fee of HK$20 per session. Users are not entitled to a refund if the venue is open for business during their booked slot, regardless of weather condition.

3. Entry Requirements
Prior to entering the venue, users must be aware of and agree to venue rules, safety guidelines, and these terms and conditions.

By entering the venue, users indicate that they fully understand and accept all relevant regulations.
​
4. Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling is not permitted under any circumstances. In exceptional cases where rescheduling is necessary, users must notify the venue at least 24 hours before the original scheduled time.
​
Rescheduling requests must be confirmed by the venue and are subject to a processing fee of HKD$20 per session.​
Users presenting a valid medical certificate may reschedule once free of charge, provided notification is given at least 24 hours prior to the original booking time. The free rescheduling opportunity is limited to once and requires submission of a medical certificate.
​
Approval of rescheduling requests depends on venue availability, and Koto Tennis reserves the final decision.
​
Note: Users are advised to consider their health condition when booking and notify Koto Tennis promptly of any need to reschedule.

5. Venue Usage
The venue has a total of 6 tennis courts. Each court can be used by a maximum of 2 users at the same time.
The courts may be used for general recreational / training uses. External coaching is strictly prohibited, unless previously authorized by Koto Tennis.
For the benefit of the next user, users must pick up all tennis balls and tidy the court after use before leaving.
Any damage or unusual conditions in the venue must be reported immediately to Koto Tennis management.

6. Appropriate Attire and Footwear
Users must wear proper tennis shoes with non-marking soles; high-heeled shoes or black-soled shoes are prohibited to protect the courts.
Appropriate tennis attire must be worn at all times.
​
7. Equipment and Court Usage
Courts are to be used solely for playing tennis.
Food, gum, and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the courts. Water in non-breakable containers is allowed.
Users may bring personal tennis equipment in compliance with venue rules.

8. Safety and Liability
Users must comply with all safety guidelines and regulations when using the venue. Smoking, pets, and any form of illegal activity (including but not limited to possession or use of prohibited substances, theft, vandalism, or harassment) are strictly prohibited within the venue.
Users are responsible for their own risks when using the venue and must ensure their own safety. The venue is not liable for any accidents or injuries that occur to users within the venue.
Users are responsible for their own personal belongings. Koto Tennis will not be liable for any loss of personal property or information that occurs within the venue, including the use of lockers.
Children under 6 years old are generally not permitted in the tennis court area without special permission. Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian to use the venue.

9. Damage and Liability
Users are responsible for any damage caused to courts, equipment, or facilities.
The venue may require a damage deposit or seek compensation for repairs from responsible parties.

10. Fire Safety
All users must comply with Koto Tennis’ fire safety regulations at all times.
Emergency exits and escape routes must be kept clear and unobstructed.
The use of open flames, candles, fireworks, or any fire-generating devices is strictly prohibited within all areas of the club.
Users should immediately report any fire hazards, damaged electrical equipment, or suspicious odors to staff.
In the event of a fire alarm or emergency evacuation, all users must promptly follow staff instructions and proceed to the designated assembly point.
Failure to comply with fire safety procedures may result in removal from the premises and potential suspension of facility privileges.

11. Violation Handling
If a user violates these terms and conditions, the venue management staff have the right to require the user to leave the venue immediately.
Serious violators may be banned from using the venue in the future.
​
12. Amendment of Terms
Koto Tennis reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
The amended terms and conditions will take effect immediately upon publication.

13. Disclaimer
We have the right to final interpretation of these terms and conditions.
Note: Users must carefully read and understand the above terms and conditions before booking and using the venue. Once a booking is made or the venue is entered, it is deemed that the user has fully accepted and agreed to comply with all regulations.
